These are the best NBA player who also played for the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and UNLV. The players are ranked by their average score in the NBA. This is a list in time, as the second player on the list is to start a fight, an NBA championship in the 2011 NBA Finals with the Dallas Mavericks. visited another player to UNLV, but does not make this list a starting player for the Mavericks is final opponent, the Miami Heat.

Two players play on this list for my favorite NBA team, the New Jersey Nets. In 1979, the Nets drafted Tony Smith of UNLV the sixth attack, but he never played in the NBA.
To date, a total of 31 players UNLV in the NBA. The program of the basketball UNLV made four Final Four, and won an NCAA championship in 1990. Theus in 1990-91 was 33, played his last season in the NBA with my New Jersey Nets. He was still an effective player, averaging 18.6 points per game for us. But I remember him best as a guy who could not pass a mirror, while a glance.

After retiring from the NBA Theus played professional basketball in Europe for a year and then finally in retirement as a player. He coached the Sacramento Kings for 106 games in 2007 and 2008. If an overall record of 44-62 (0415).

Shawn Marion played for the University of Las Vegas for one season in 1999 and an average of 18.7 points and 9.3 rebounds per game. The Phoenix Suns Marion again ranked ninth overall in NBA Draft 1999th Over 12 seasons in the NBA, Marion is an average of 16.8 points and 9.3 rebounds per game. He makes about $ 108,000,000 in wages in the NBA play today.

Shawn Marion is starting for the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA Finals in 2011 in their fight LeBron James (notes), Dwyane Wade (notes) and the Miami Heat, the NBA championship in 2011. Marion is averaging 15.3 points and 7.3 rebounds in the first three games of the Finals, the Mavs now walk two games in a row to lose the third game at home, 88-86.

Isaiah Ryder average of 24.9 points and 7.1 rebounds per game in two seasons at UNLV in 1992 and 1993. It was the fifth pick in NBA Draft 1993 received from the Minnesota Timberwolves. Ryder played nine years in the NBA and retired with a career average of 16.7 points per game.

Gilliam poor average 17.3 points and 8.3 rebounds per game for UNLV 1985 to 1987. The Phoenix Suns Gilliam with the second pick in the 1987 NBA Draft. Gilliam played 13 years in the NBA and retired in 2000 with averages of 13.7 points and 6.9 rebounds per game. He played three seasons for me, networks from 1994 to 1996 and an average of 14.9 points and 7.6 rebounds per game for us.

Greg Anthony was a leader in the 1990 UNLV team NCAA Championship. He played 11 years in the NBA, and now basketball analyst for ESPN and CBS Sports.

After averaging just 3.7 points and 3.5 rebounds per game at UNLV for two seasons 2005 and 2007, Joel Anthony was never drafted by an NBA team.
However, the Miami Heat has signed a free agent in 2007 and Anthony made the team. It is now starting in the 2011 NBA Finals against the Dallas Mavericks heat.

Except a shot from time to time block and typing a few rebounds, Anthony is essentially filling the space that LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh (notes), try to win the championship.
