Ralph Sampson III withdraws name from NBA is back in Minnesota for senior season

Ralph Sampson III has withdrawn his name from NBA and return for his final season in Minnesota.

Sampson made the announcement on Monday. Coach Tubby Smith said that 7-foot forward his name to the project to test the waters. Attended a training session in the draft with other perspectives before making a decision.
Sampson and his family belong, including former Virginia star Ralph Sampson super, and finally decided to return last season.

The younger Sampson averaged 10.2 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.0 blocks last season the Golden Gophers.

Smith has always informed some of his young players put their names on the project in order to avoid them experience against some of the best talent in the country from years of the project workouts.
